      Customizing the NSUI (New Student User Interface)

      Use either Managed Properties or Manage Orgs to set customizations for the NSUI login and Dashboard pages.

      There are a variety of customizations available for the NSUI. These customizations can be applied at the default level and the Org level.

      Default Customizations


      The default customizations can be configured by using Managed Properties. To access these properties:

      1. Log in as an Admin
      2. Go to Manage Properties under the Admin Tasks sidebar menu option

      3. Search for the Managed Property you would like to change 
      4. Click on the property and select View/Edit Details. 

      5. Change the Value accordingly and click Save 

      6. Click on Apply Changes 

       

      Login Screen Customization Properties:

      1. LoginBackgroundColor - background color
      2. StudentUILoginLogo - company logo (Use an SVG file for the best display results.)
      (300x100 is the recommended size)
      3. LoginTextColor - text color
      4. StudentUILoginImage - background image (800x800 is the recommended size)
      5. StudentUIBtnColor - color for buttons (Blue, Gray, and Red are the available options) 

      NSUI Dashboard Customization Properties:

      1. HeaderColor - Header bar background color
      2. HeaderTextColor - Header bar text color
      3. SideMenuBackgroundColor - Side navigation menu background color
      4. SideMenuTextColor - Side navigation menu text color
      5. SideMenuHighlightColor - Side navigation menu highlight color
      6. Logo - company logo (Use an SVG file for the best display results.)
      (210x56 is the recommended size)  
      7. LogoIcon - *company logo Icon - (Use an SVG file for the best display results.)
      (50x50 is the recommended size) 

      *If you want to use the same logo for the icon, use an SVG file with the same image you used for the logo. The Logo Icon will be automatically resized.

       

      Org-Level Customizations

      To customize the NSUI Dashboard for a particular Org: 

      1. Log in as an Admin 
      2. Go to Manage Orgs under the Admin Tasks sidebar menu option

      3. Select the Org you want to edit.
      4. Click on View/Edit Details.

      5. Use the User Interface Options to set your customizations and click Save.
