Getting Started: Asset Library
This guide explains how to log in, navigate the Asset Library, and begin downloading assets.
The Asset Library provides access to millions of learning development assets such as templates, images, icons, characters, videos, and audio files that can be used to build eLearning courses and presentations. These assets can be downloaded and integrated into various authoring tools.
Accessing the Asset Library
To start using the Asset Library:
- Open the ELB Studio Portal:
https://portal.elblearning.com - Log in using your ELB Learning account credentials.
- After logging in, navigate to the Apps tab.
- Locate Asset Library and launch the application.
- Once launched, you will be directed to the Asset Library Home Page, where you can browse the available libraries and assets.
Navigating the Asset Library
After logging in, you can access different libraries from the Asset Library navigation menu.
The main libraries include:
- Template Library
- Cutout People Library
- Stock Asset Library
- Icon Library
- PowerPoint Template Library
- Medical Images Library
These libraries contain assets such as course templates, interactions, characters, stock photos, videos, audio files, and icons used in eLearning development.
Using the Member Dashboard
The Member Dashboard allows users to manage their account and activity within the Asset Library.
To open the Member Dashboard:
- Click your username in the top-right corner of the Asset Library.
- Select Member Dashboard.
From the dashboard, you can:
- Update your user profile
- View download history
- Access saved favorites and collections
- Upload files to team libraries
- Manage account subscriptions or users (administrators only)
Searching and Browsing Assets
Assets in the Asset Library can be found using the following methods:
Browse by Library
Navigate to a specific library (Templates, Icons, Images, etc.) and explore the available categories.
Use the Search Bar
Enter relevant keywords to quickly locate assets such as:
- Templates
- Images
- Icons
- Videos
- Characters
Filtering options allow you to refine results based on asset type, style, or category.
Downloading Assets
To download an asset:
- Open the asset preview page.
- Click the Download button.
- Save the file to your computer.
- Import the asset into your authoring tool or project.
Assets are provided in formats compatible with popular learning development tools.
Saving Assets to Favorites
You can bookmark assets for future use by adding them to Favorites or Collections.
To create a collection:
- Go to the Member Dashboard.
- Open the My Favorites tab.
- Click New Collection.
- Enter a collection name and click Create.
While browsing assets, select Add to My Favs to save them to a collection for later use.
