Slide & Feedback Masters: Storyline Course Starter

***All template files are tested using modern browsers, such as Chrome and Firefox. We do not support or test using Internet Explorer.***

All files use fully-functional, unique slide and feedback masters to ensure editability and ease of use.

Placeholders are used as much as possible to provide you with more control over the design of your slide, should you choose to make changes or start a new slide from scratch.

To edit images - like characters or the background images - just delete the ones that we've placed in the template, and use the Storyline prompt that appears, then arrange that element in the timeline as you see fit.

If no prompt appears - for instance, if you're deleting a vector icon we've included - you can either include an image via the Ribbon or CTRL+J on your keyboard, or right-click the slide layer you're on and press reset slide.

This will bring back the placeholder objects from the master.

It may also, however, rearrange a few elements on the page if you've made any edits to position, line breaks, etc., and potentially strip out the images that are already in place.

Have CTRL+Z at the ready.

Since each slide and layer uses a detailed master, you can always start from scratch like we did.

Either right-click in the left-hand pane and select New Slide > Basic Layouts and then choose a master, or use the Ribbon up top to insert a New Slide.

If you choose this option, you'll get placeholders for all critical elements on the stage, but some of the more decorative elements that reside above the bottom element of the master or that need to be edited on the timeline will be absent. That said, the significant majority of decorative elements used throughout course starters are in-tool or custom vector shapes that can be edited quite easily. So go grab something from another slide and paste it into your new slide as is, or edit as you see fit to make your new design something really special.
