In this video, we're going to take a look at the basic structure of our 4-Button Multiple Choice Knowledge Check Storyline template, and how to make simple edits like changing text in the file.
First, let's look at the structure. This is a single-screen template with a question, and four choices available to the user. Functionality is very straightforward. Content is presented on the main layer, and two feedback layers provide response to the user's selection. On all layers, content can be edited simply by selecting a text box on the screen.
One, somewhat-tricky item to note— the user can click the question icon at bottom right of the main image to get a hint for that question. This content is in the "HINT CONTENT" object, and appears on screen during editing, but will be set to Hidden on publish. To edit the hint content, select the Hint Content text box and change text as desired.
To change which answer options are correct, you can use the Form View editor. Click into this view and use the radio buttons at left to indicate the correct answer.
In this template, the number of buttons is fixed to 4. If you need to remove a button, simply disable it in the main timeline, drag off stage, or delete.
