In this video, we're going to take a look at the structure of our 5-Tab Click to Reveal Storyline template, and how to make a few edits to the file.
This is a single-slide template. It's fairly straightforward, development-wise. That makes it a cinch to edit.
The base layer contains a narrator, introductory content, and 5 buttons. The user selects a button, and a corresponding layer with new content and narrator appears.
All content in this template is set in standard SL text boxes. Navigate to an element, click, and edit as desired.
To replace the narrator images, either delete and add a new image, or right-click and select Change Image.
Buttons are standard Storyline shapes; you can adjust color, fill, the shape itself, using the Format pane. Each tab has 4 states , so be sure to adjust all states as desired. The number of tabs can be controlled using the Triggers pane.At the top, adjust a variable called NumOfTabs_ as desired.
