Lectora Training Plan: Everything You Need to Know
Lectora can add and format text much like any word processing software. Learn about the texting editing features in this video.
To add a text block to your project select Text Block from the insert ribbon.
Alternatively you will find the keyboard shortcut to add a text block in the description below
control alt 0.
To edit the text block double-click inside the block and add or update your text
On the home ribbon you can change the font, size and color of the text or apply a preset text style.
From the formatting menu on the home ribbon you can also adjust the text alignment, line spacing and paragraph indents.
You can also add bullets or numbers to create lists.
Whenever a text block has been selected, a new secondary menu will appear on the ribbon.
These new options will give you added flexibility in modifying the properties, style, and position and size of the text block.
To add a link to your text double click inside a text block and select the text you want to hyperlink
Select hyperlink from the text menu on the home ribbon or right click and select add hyperlink.
The add hyperlink window will appear.
From here you will select the appropriate action this link will perform.
Some Common use cases for links include using the go to action to link to another page within the project, or using the Go To Web Address action to link to a website on the internet
In either case, you'll enter in the page address and then select from the option to open in existing window or open in a new window.
Since opening a hyperlink in an existing window can disrupt course navigation it's recommended that all external hyperlinks open in a new window
