Adding Users by Import

This guide will explain how to add users to the system with our import template.

If you have more than 20 Users to add to your system, we recommend using our import template. The only required fields for an Import are the Email Address and the First and Last name of the user. The rest of the columns are available to provide additional information if it applies to your organization.


Step 1

Open up the import template and begin working from left to right and fill in the details of the User's Information in Columns A - E.


Step 2

Once you have filled out the User Information details, move on to the Groups section in Columns F - H.


Step 3

Learner Groups are the Groups that this User will be a Learner in. Mentor Groups are the Groups that this User will Mentor. Group Tags are any tags you want that particular Group to have associated with it.


Step 4

Once you have filled out the Groups details, move on to the User Specific Mentor Section in Column I. 


Step 5

Enter the email address of the person that will be this individual's User-Specific Mentor.


Step 6

Once you have completed this, move onto the User Profile Settings section in Columns J - M.


Step 7

Once you have filled out the import template, send the completed template to your ELB Learning Support and we will assist with importing the document.
