Administrator, Creator, and Viewer Rights and Responsibilities
The Training Arcade® supports four User types:
- Administrator (Admin)
- Creator (Author)
- Viewer
- Player (Learner)
With exception to players, the above Users have access to varying rights and responsibilities within the Administrative Portal (Admin Portal). Administrators can invite users to the platform and grant the appropriate permission levels for other Users. Administrator and Creator seats are paid seats within the platform, viewers are free. Each subdomain can have an unlimited amount of viewer seats.
Players do not have access to the Administrative Portal. Players can only be invited to Games and Arcades™ via access links, or embedded into an LMS.
The Administrator for the subdomain has full access to all areas, permissions, Arcades and games, housed inside the Admin Portal.
- Full access to all Analytics and Leaderboards
- Instructor rights to host ILT and VILT games
- Full creation, edit and deletion rights for Games and Arcades
- Full creation, edit and deletion rights for User Management.
- Access to create, edit, and delete Player Lists
- Access to create and edit SSO settings
- Full access to the <Settings> tab in the Admin Portal
- Full access to the <Help> page in the Admin Portal
- Full access to the <Accounts> tab
A Creator for the subdomain has limited access to games housed inside the Admin Portal. The Creator has access to all games they have created. Additionally, the Administrator for the subdomain can grant specific Creators and Viewers access to the games created by others. For the games they created, they have:
- Limited access to all Analytics and Leaderboards
- Instructor rights to host ILT and VILT games
- Full creation, edit, and deletion rights for Games and Arcades
- Access to create, edit, and delete Player Lists
- Full access to the <Help> page in the Admin Portal
- Profile only access to the <Accounts> tab
A Viewer for the subdomain has limited access to games housed inside the Admin Portal. The Viewer has view-only access to all games as assigned to them by administration.
