How to Download 360 Images from our Asset Libraries
In this video I'm going to show you how to search for Equirectangular Images within the ELB Learning Asset Libraries. Using our available imagery will be a fast and easy way to help you get started and familiarize yourself with CenarioVR.
First, you will need to be logged into library.elearningbrothers.com. Click on the Stock Assets module from the front page. Go to Stock Images & Vectors.
In the search bar, type in the words "equirectangular, VR and 360" this will help narrow down the search results to images that are compatible with a 360 degree scene.
A basic way to recognize Equirectangular images is to spot the round distortions within an image. Some are drastic like this one, while others are less noticeable like this one.
You may find some images that are not compatible. A good example is this spherical image, which doesn't give us that distorted feel. Another is this one which is a linear and flat image.
Open the image in a new tab, and click on any of the download options you'd like to choose. For today, I will select this one.
The images will download straight to your computer. Now you can login to CenarioVR.
When logged in, click on My Scenarios. Click on the blue plus button on the top right corner of the site and upload the recently downloaded file.
There you have it! If you have any questions feel free to reach out to us in the ELB Learning Community.
