Learner Activities
Learner activities allow admins to add activities such as multiple choice questions, task lists, and uploads to existing and new video, audio, PDF, link, and event modules. Learner activities cannot be added to SCORM, xAPI, or Rockstar Learning Platform quizzes.
To add a learner activity you can either create a new module or click on the title of an existing module to bring up the module details editor. Here you will see a toggle button asking to "enable learner activity." Click the yes button on the toggle.
After you click the yes button on the toggle, you will see two more options. If you plan on adding a multiple choice question as an activity you can choose to show the correct answer or not after the user has answered the question. You will also see the "build activity" button. Click this to add learner activities to your modules.
After you click the build activity button, a light box will appear with a red "add new item" button. Click this button to view the learner activity options. When you click on a learner activity from the list, it will appear in the light box. If the activity has a red field you will need to input text. For example, number three is a rating activity. Users will have the ability to click on a rating from 1-5. Type the question you want them to rate in the red box. To delete a question click on the trashcan icon next to the activity.
When you are done building out your learner activities click on the red "save and submit" button. This will save your work.
Learner activities will appear to the right of the module on the users page of the platform.
The user will have to complete all of the learner activities in order for the module to be marked as 100% complete.
To view reporting on learner activities navigate to the reports tab in the admin page. Scroll down the page until you see the "activity" section on the right hand side. You can search by a specific user or a module in the platform. Click on either option and then type in the user or module name in the search bar.
Click on the user or module to bring up more details. In this case the screen shot below shows what will be displayed if you search by user.
Click on the module you would like to see the learner activities for. In this case I will select "Welcome to Your Learning Experience."
You will be able to see what the learner answered for each learning activity.
