Posting a Video to a Channel (Laptop/Desktop)
This article will demonstrate how to post a video on Channels. These instructions apply to desktop and laptop operating systems only (Windows and Mac).

Overview
There are three different ways to post a video to a channel:
- Record a video now with your computer's camera and microphone
- Use the Rehearsal Screen Recorder to record your screen, and optionally, yourself on your webcam
- Upload an existing video stored on your computer
How to Record a Video With Your Camera
- Click the Post button.
- Click the Record button.
- If your browser asks for permission to use the camera and microphone, click Allow.
- If your device has more than one camera or microphone, click the in the upper-right corner of the video recorder to select your preferred devices.
- Make sure that the volume meter on the left moves when you speak.
- Click Start Recording.
- Click Stop Recording when finished.
- The recorded video will play back automatically. Click Discard Recording to try again, or Submit Recording if you are happy with the results.
- Type a title for your video.
- Click Post Video.
How to Record Your Screen
- Click the Post button.
- Click the Record Screen button.
- If you have not yet installed the screen recorder application, you will be prompted to download it. See this Knowledge Center article or watch the video above for detailed instructions on installing and using the Screen Recorder application.
- Once the Screen Recorder application is installed, click Launch Recorder and you can use it to record your screen, or your screen and webcam.
Important note: Leave this page open in your browser and leave the box on the page open. You can switch tabs or minimize your browser, but if the page or the posting box on the page is closed, you will not be able to submit your recording. - Once your video has been uploaded, enter a title.
- Click Post Video.
How to Upload a Video
- Click the Post button.
- Click the Upload button.
- Click Select Video from Computer and choose a file, or drag your video file onto the box.
- Once the video has uploaded, enter a title.
- Click Post Video.
