In this video, we're going to take a look at the basic structure of our Ripple Scenario template, and how to make a few simple edits like changing text in the file. First let's look at the structure.
This is a multi-slide template - we've included versions with between 5 and 2 clickable objects - but we'll be focusing on just the first slide today.
On the timeline we've built a very simple target-style visual - each selectable element of which is labeled.
To the left we have introductory content, and at far left, vertically-oriented, we've got a title.
All of these elements are directly editable as standard Captivate objects. Color, stroke, style, state - all straightforward.
When the user clicks one of the circles in the main visual, a feedback group appears, with a main image, an overlapping circle element, text header and body copy.
To edit any the content for each circle the learner clicks, you'll need to edit the caption in this feedback group.
All content for the interaction is in this caption element. Edit in states view to see it all.
Similarly, to edit the images for a specific selection, you'll need to select the image in the feedback group and use the states view.
All other slides in this interaction can be edited exactly like this one.
