Team Communication in Lectora Online
Use Lectora Online’s communicating capabilities to stay in touch with your team members. You can instantly communicate or send email.
In Lectora Online, there are multiple ways to communicate with other members of your team. This way you can stay up to date on project status and easily collect and review data.
Instant Message & Email
From the Team tab on the homepage you can instant message or email other team members.
To send an instant message simply select the instant message graphic.
If a team member is online they will show up as a solid dark blue icon, while offline team members will be greyed out.
Type in your message and select send. To exit out, select the cancel button.
You can also send an email to team members within lectora online.
You can include multiple recipients by separating the email addresses with a comma, then enter your subject and text before selecting send.
Notes
You can also communicate with other team members using the notes feature.
Since your project can be shared across your organization from the tasks list, you can grant access to other developers or people marked as reviewers within the system.
To add a note, navigate to the Tools ribbon and select the Add Note option.
Select a note color or adjust the note text style. Select the note that you want to use and it will appear on the screen.
Within the header you'll see the user ID for whoever is leaving the note. In the footer is a date and time stamp.
Simply enter your notes to the developer.
If you'd like to see a complete list of all the notes you've added to a course you can run a notes report from the Tools ribbon.
