User Roles & Responsibilities

A summary of the various profile permissions in the Rehearsal platform

Roles

Within Rehearsal there are several types of User Roles that can be assigned.  The information below explains what those roles and responsibilities are:  


Learner

Can respond to Scenarios in which they are specifically assigned, and receive feedback on said responses from a specifically assigned Mentor(s)


Mentor 

Can provide feedback on Learner responses to Learners in which they are specifically assigned. A Mentor can be Program, Group or User-Specific, as well as individually added at the Assignment level.


Assignment Editor 

Can edit the specific Assignment in which they are added to.


Program Editor 

Can edit the specific Program in which they are added to.


Scenario Editor 

Can edit the specific Scenario in which they are added to.


Assignment Manager 

Can create/edit their own Assignments.


Program Manager 

Can create/edit their own Scenarios, Programs, and Assignments.


Scenario Manager 

Can create/edit their own Scenarios.


Administrator
   •  Can create/edit their own Scenarios, Programs, and Assignments
   •  Can add/edit/disable/delete Users + manage subscriptions
   •  Can add/edit/delete Groups
   •  Can edit all system/site settings


Program Mentors

People who could be potentially designated as program mentors when configuring an assignment. This is configured per program within the Program Mentor section within the Program Editor page.


Program Editors

People who have permission to edit a program. Users must be specifically listed in the Program Editors section within the Program Editor page.

Note: Administrators do not need to be added as they can already edit all programs.


Assignment Editors

People who have permission to edit a assignment. Users must be specifically listed in the Assignment Editors section within the Assignment Editor page.

Note: Administrators do not need to be added as they can already edit all assignments.


All users can access and participate in public Channels and any private Channels (per the specific settings) that they have been added as a Member
